PR Account Manager

You will be working with some of Qatar’s leading communications professionals and will have the opportunity to develop your career in international PR and digital communications. In This Role You Will:

Engage and interact with clients daily. Serve as the day-to-day client contact managing project timelines, team inputs, and budgets as required.

Deliver high-quality programs, incorporating earned, owned, and paid tactics, goals, and pitch angles.

Help develop client content, including media materials, social media content, blog outreach, media pitches, bylines, Q&As, op-eds, etc.

Plan and execute client activities in a timely, efficient, and high-quality manner with minimal direction from supervisors.

Excellent knowledge of monitoring and research tools, and ability to critically analyze findings and provide recommendations to clients.

Understanding of how to brief tasks and provide feedback to the junior team, managing workflow to ensure that tasks are completed in a timely fashion and delivered to a high standard.

Create research briefings on specific topic areas and issues and complement them with sound and insightful POV for clients.

Provide recommendations to clients proactively based on a strong understanding of their objectives and needs.

Support and lead narrative development and messaging workshops.
Generate creative ideas to use in PR programs to meet client objectives.
Assist in the development and execution of crisis-communication strategies.
Run client meetings as required.
Assist on new business proposals and manage junior team input.
Liaise with clients and ensure satisfaction with the company’s services.
Provide client team support, attend internal meetings to gain an understanding of key issues, and seek feedback from others on a regular basis.
Attend and participate in networking events, out-of-hours if required, monthly.
Support with out-of-hours requests as required.
Ability to implement client brand guidelines and amend content to reflect the client’s preferred style.
Ensure the company remains abreast of news related to client interests.
Maintain contacts with journalists and key stakeholders.
Actively seek networking opportunities.
Attend and participate in networking events, out-of-hours if required, monthly.
Support with out-of-hours requests as required.

What We Are Looking For:

Leadership of the account team, with potential for a mentoring role with juniors.

Proven track record in Client-facing role for corporate communications (3-5 years of experience)

Responsible for managing and supporting junior team and briefing/tracking tasks as required.

Should be comfortable providing recommendations directly to clients and overseeing projects.

Should be confident interpreting client requests and responding accordingly, or where necessary escalating up.

Should be comfortable running client meetings and following up on tasks in the absence of more senior team members.

Willingness to input new business proposals.

Bilingual Capability in Arabic & English
