1. Principal

Successful applicants must have:

  • A certified teaching qualification such as B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent (PGCE/PGDE must be accompanied by a subject relevant Bachelor’s Degree).
  • 10 yrs of experience in school administrative. Or 8 yrs of experience in teaching role + 3 yrs of experience in school administrative.
  • The ability to work well in a team and a hardworking and highly motivated work ethic.

    About Us

  • Iqra English Schools are a growing group of schools situated in the heart of Qatar’s capital city, Doha. Our first school opened its doors to pupils in January 2007 and due to its success and enormous demand we went on to open a further two schools, both of which have been awarded Qatar National Schools’ Accreditation (QNSA). At present, Iqra English Schools consist of three schools; a preschool for children aged between 3 and 5, and separate Primary campuses for Boys and Girls aged between 5 and 12.
  • Iqra English Schools are an international and multinational community of students, personnel and faculty, all united under the mission of contributing to society at a local and global level, and to nurturing and educating confident young individuals. Our curriculum is broadly based on the Curriculum of England and Wales for all subjects that are taught through the medium of English, but adapted to make it more relevant to students for whom English is a Second Language, and the Qatar National Curriculum for Arabic, Islamic Studies and Qatar History.

    • 5. Secondary Science Teacher

    • 6. Secondary ICT Teacher

    Successful applicants must have:

  • A certified teaching qualification such as B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent (PGCE/PGDE must be accompanied by a subject relevant Bachelor’s Degree).
  • Strong subject knowledge, with experience of teaching the British National Curriculum.
  • A passion for teaching and learning and a proven track record of providing outstanding teaching and learning.
  • The ability to work well in a team and a hardworking and highly motivated work ethic.
  • Recent teaching experience in the UK.

    • 7. UK qualified Primary / Secondary Teachers

    We are recruiting for our current schools and our brand new, purpose-built academy set to open in August 2024. We do recruit NQTs (ECTs), however we do not currently provide the ECT support program.

    Successful applicants must have:  

  • A certified teaching qualification such as B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent (PGCE/PGDE must be accompanied by a subject relevant Bachelor’s Degree).
  • Strong subject knowledge, with experience of teaching the British National Curriculum.
  • A passion for teaching and learning and a proven track record of providing outstanding teaching and learning.
  • The ability to work well in a team and a hardworking and highly motivated work ethic.
  • Recent teaching experience in the UK.
