Required jobs in Vectrus Company and their details:

1. Outside Plant Technician I

Installs, troubleshoots and repairs a broad range of telecommunications cabling media to include coaxial, fiber optic, Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP), main feeder cable (200,400,600 pair etc). Installs cable racks, conduit, panduit, and other support structures for the protection and aesthetics of cables. Tests cable for signal quality, continuity, and availability. Terminates and splices both copper and fiber optic cable. Reports to Work Center Supervisor or Site Lead.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
U.S. citizenship is required.
Active Secret Clearance.
Experience
Requires 5 – 7 years experience in the cable, telephone and Local Area Network Installation and repair.
Certification
Fiber Optic repair Course preferred.

2. Project Manager

Under the supervision of the Senior Public Works Manager, The Project Manager will serve as the single point of contact for a large facility U.S. Government Operations and Maintenance support services for light construction projects located in Qatar. The duties and responsibilities listed are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.

Responsibilities

This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.
Ensures that quality standards are applied to all levels of the work and measured for effectiveness.
Monitors contractual performance and costs, and takes action to correct discrepant conditions
Monitors the performance of department, branch, and section personnel and the submissions of required reports and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL).
Plan and implement projects
Help define project scope, goals and deliverables
Define tasks and required resources
Manage project team
Manage budget
Allocate project resources
Create schedule and project timeline
Track deliverables
Support and direct team
Monitor and report on project progress
Present to stakeholders reports on progress as well as problems and solutions
Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs
Evaluate and assess result of project
Monitors contractual performance and costs and takes action to correct discrepant conditions
Performs other duties and assignments as required

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction, Facilities, Contracts or related field
Six Sigma Green Belt Certification desired
PMP certification desired.
Must be CAC eligible and/or able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Experience:
Six (6) years of Project Management experience with 2 years in a managerial capacity of a similar project, department or branch related to these functions.
Five to eight years as a manager in a multi-discipline environment comparable to that offered under this contract.
Preferred background in military installation base support/infrastructure management.

3. HVAC Mechanic

This position performs HVAC preventive and corrective maintenance jobs. Responds to emergencies and perform other tasks assigned.

Responsibilities

Preventive Maintenance
Service Orders
Nonvalue added work (Shop clean-up, Inventory of Tools)
Performs other duties and assignments as required.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
Education/Experience: Two years' related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
Foreign National
College degree preferred, high school diploma is required or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in HVAC repair and installation and 3 years' in a supervisory role. Must be able to read and understand schematic drawings, and strong troubleshooting abilities.
Program Specific Requirements:
Extensive HVAC Maintenance Experience. (3-5 Years)
Possess knowledge of safety and environmental issues as they relate to Facility Maintenance.
Able to communicate with customer.

4. Systems Administrator I

The Systems Administrator I monitors the Tier 1 and/or 2 server operations/performance using appropriate software applications and tools. The Administrators shall be the Helpdesk POC for all theater NIPR and SIPR enterprise systems issues, create and/or manage trouble tickets, and monitor status and report outages to RNOSC Operations. Reports directly to the Systems Administrator II.

Responsibilities

Operates and maintains all aspects of server administration to include but is not limited to Microsoft 200X Active Directory Organization Units (OU) and objects (Users, Computers, MAB), Windows File Server, Network Policy Server (NPS), Domain Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Print Server, Internet Information Services (IIS), etc.
Maintains Systems availability and perform regular maintenance on equipment, and installation of IAVA approved patches.
Configuring and troubleshooting Microsoft servers
Proficient at hardware maintenance and troubleshooting of various vender Server platforms.
Maintains security requirements by following Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) provided by DISA.
Provides user and Microsoft Exchange account maintenance as required.
Performs other duties as required.

Associates Degree in Information Technology (IT) or a related field.
U.S. citizenship is required.
Active Secret Clearance.
Certifications
