Required jobs in Compass International School and their details:

1. School Secretary

The School Secretary will be a highly resourceful team player, who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible, proactive, and efficient. The individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.

The Successful candidate will possess:

Preferably under husband/family sponsorship
At least 2 years' experience as a Secretary
Fluent in English and speaking in Arabic is an advantage

Required Skills/Abilities

Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills.
Maintains professional and friendly demeanor.
Possesses basic computer skills and knowledge of word processing programs.
Is familiar with budget and publishing software such as Quicken and Adobe.
Demonstrate ability to multi-task effectively.
Works well with a variety of students, administrators, and parents.
Possesses excellent telephone etiquette.
Communicates clearly and effectively.
Fluent in English both speaking and written

2. General Accountant

As a General Accountant at Nord Anglia International School Al Khor, you will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions and maintaining accurate records. You will work closely with Finance Manager to ensure compliance with accounting principles and contribute to the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end close procedures.
Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
Collaborate with auditors during financial audits and provide necessary documentation.
Perform other accounting duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA certification is a plus).
Proven experience as a General Accountant or similar role.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
